The project ArtUrbanRegen, supported for the period 01.10.2018-30.09.2020 by the European Commission under the Erasmus + Programme (under number 2018-1-RO01-KA204-049117), is a European Project that aims to provide training for educators and low skilled adults in the subjects of urban regeneration, artistic entrepreneurship and creative industries. In order to address the abandonment of historical buildings in the project partners’ countries, the objective is to build creative and entrepreneurial orientated minds, giving a solution to this specific issue.
This way two benefits for the EU community are extracted:
First, it raises the competitiveness of its citizens, by making them more qualified to respond to their local cities’ necessities in terms of urban regeneration, and helping low-qualified adults to fit to the labour market needs.
Second, it also helps its cities by creating the specific mind model in its citizens that will allow the future refurbishing of historic and traditional buildings that have been left aside for a long period of time.
The project is targeting directly two profiles:
These two groups will be directly involved in project activities: they will take part in the training (piloting the training package) and they will be invited to join the community on the e-learning platform.
